Macedonia offers many possibilities to stay overnight: from campsites, mountain huts, apartments, hostels and guesthouses to (luxury) hotels and chalets.

Budget accommodaties (€15 - €25)

Most budget accommodations are located around Lake Ohrid near Ohrid and Struga. There are a number of small-scale campsites with excellent facilities. You can book a pitch on a campsite for as little as €20 per night depending on the season. There are also cheap hostels and guesthouses around the lake but also in Skopje and in the mountains. You can already book a room in a good guesthouse in Ohrid for €15 per night.

Middle class accommodations (€25 - €50)

Macedonia has a wide variety of middle class hotels and apartments. The service is generally fine and on average the price for a 3-star hotel is around €40 per night.

Luxury accommodations (€50 and above)

Macedonia also has more than enough to offer in luxury accommodations. There are modern design hotels in the center of Skopje but also luxury accommodations with wellness located directly at Lake Ohrid. For these accommodations you need to get a little deeper into your pocket. Prices range from €50 to €300 per night.
