This was the official flag of Macedonia from 1995 to 1995.
During the first continuation of the 41st session on 11.8.1992, a solar flag with 16 rays was chosen. This will later be called the Sun of Kutlesh or Star of Vergina. It was not the proposal of the anonymous public competition for the Arms, Flag and National Anthem of the Republic of Macedonia, but the proposal of the independent MP Todor Petrov.
